Lok Sabha candidate

Mihir Kotecha was vandalized by anti-social elements on Sunday afternoon at Lallubhai Compound in Mankhurd. Kotecha said that such an unfortunate incident had occurred on the birth anniversary of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar, the architect of Indian Constitution. “Instead of fighting the battle in the democratic way laid down by Babasaheb, the opposition is resorting to a cowardly act of inflaming the minds of the youth and giving it a communal colour.

I strongly condemn this. I earnestly request BJP and Mahayuti workers to exercise restraint,” Kotecha said.

Earlier on Sunday, Kotecha, who is an MLA from Mulund, paid tributes to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar on his Jayanti. Kotecha offered floral tributes to the architect of Indian Constitution and Bharat Ratna Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar at Mata Ramabai Ambedkar Nagar in Ghatkopar (East).

On the occasion of Babasaheb Ambedkar Birth Anniversary, Kotecha offered floral tributes to his statue at Mata Ramabai Ambedkar Nagar and RTO Colony in Ghatkopar (East). The enthusiastic atmosphere, coupled with the presence of attendees, amplified the sense of celebration. Kotecha also paid tributes to the statues of the revered figures, the Tathagata Gautama Buddha and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on the occasion.
