Troubleshooting/Tips

Make sure your machine’s Bootrom is up to date prior to installing your new device
If you experience any issues with hibernation or sleep mode, open up your Terminal app, type the following command and hit return: sudo pmset hibernatemode 0 standby 0
This will allow your Mac Book to perform optimally without draining battery usage
Are you experiencing a slower startup? Go to System Preferences, click Startup Disk, click unlock at the bottom left corner, select your drive, & restart your computer.
Is your fan running loud after data migration? Go to Activity Monitor. If you see “mds” or “mds_stores” under Processes, that is simply just the Spotlight function indexing your data. This is normal and occurs often after initial data transfers and should go away on its own in about 20-45 min.

Seamless, smooth, and simple installation.
