A newly established European umbrella association called Music Tech Europe aims to spearhead innovation in the music sector. The initiative aims to bring together music technology associations from across Europe.
As the largest and most representative body for the European music tech ecosystem, Music Tech Europe aims to foster sustainable development and innovation within the music sector. It also aims to enhance the economic infrastructure within organizations providing technology-driven solutions for the music industry.
Founding members of Music Tech Europe include leading organizations from Germany, Italy, Greece, Sweden, Belgium, France, Spain, Finland, Norway, and the United Kingdom. Founding members include MusicTech Germany, Music Innovation Hub, MESO Events, Nordic Music Tech, Wallifornia MusicTech, MusicTech France, Barcelona Music Tech Hub, Music Finland, Music Tech Norway, and Music Technology UK.
As an independent non-profit organization, Music Tech Europe is dedicated to serving as the principal liaison in Europe for music technology and innovation. The organization’s mission is to nurture and catalyze music tech innovation in Europe by creating a unique ecosystem that promotes sustainable development within the music sector. The association seeks to improve the economic infrastructure and creative environment necessary for European music technology innovations to thrive.
