Industry Association VDMA Sanitary Technology and Design intensifies cooperation with Messe Frankfurt

FRANKFURT, GERMANY — The VDMA Sanitary Technology and Design Industry Association is intensifying its cooperation with Messe Frankfurt, the organizer of the leading international trade fair ISH. At the same time, Dr. Laura Dorfer, Managing Director of the new Industrial Association for Sanitary Technology and Design, will become a member of the ISH Trade Fair Advisory Board.

“Trade fairs are still an indispensable sales channel for the installation technology and sanitary industry,” says Dirk Gellisch, Deputy Chairman of VDMA Sanitary Technology and Design. “Trade fairs offer the ideal platform for presenting innovations, experiencing the latest trends and maintaining direct contact with our customers and partners. This is where we actively shape the future of our industry and strengthen our joint commitment to excellence and progress. I have therefore assumed responsibility for trade fairs within the industry association and am delighted that Dr. Laura Dorfer is joining the ISH Trade Fair Advisory Board and the ISH Water Advisory Board on behalf of our association.”

Deepening Connections

“As a new member of the ISH Advisory Board, I am determined to continue supporting and expanding the tried-and-tested trade fair sales channel in the interests of our industry,” emphasizes Dr. Dorfer. “The Sanitary Technology and Design Industry Association has set itself the goal of deepening the connection between the industry and Messe Frankfurt and strengthening the ISH as a leading international industry event.”

“The sanitary industry and installation technology are key drivers of innovation for Germany and Europe, with an appeal that extends far beyond Europe’s borders,” says Iris Jeglitza-Moshage, Director of Technology Shows at Messe Frankfurt GmbH. “As the world’s leading trade fair for water, heat and air, the sanitation industry has also been a key element of ISH from the very beginning and makes a decisive contribution to the fair’s success. We at Messe Frankfurt therefore very much welcome the establishment of the new industry association VDMA Sanitary Technology and Design and look forward to working in partnership to break new ground together.”
