Starfield: How to find HopeTown and HopeTech

Quests will take you all over the Settled Systems in Starfield. What starts out as a routine mission on a planet that you are familiar with can lead to you traveling the galaxy to new and exciting locations. One location that you will likely visit more than once is HopeTown, which is where the company HopeTech is based in Starfield.

While quest markers will lead you to HopeTown, there are some situations where you might want to find the location on your own. Whether you want to buy a ship from HopeTech or visit Ron Hope, who is voiced by the legendary Wes Johnson, you will the correct path to get to HopeTown. Below, I will show you exactly how you can reach this city in Starfield.

Reaching HopeTown in Starfield

HopeTown is located on a planet called Polvo, which is situated within the Valo system. If you’re having a hard time finding the Valo system, it’s likely because it’s attached to the Narion system on your galaxy map. If you see Narion, which is located northeast of Alpha Centauri, then click on it and the option to travel to Valo should appear. Your galaxy map should look like the one in the screenshot below.

Once you’re in the Valo system, find the Polvo planet, which is directly to the left of the system’s sun. Click on Polvo and then you will be able to land at HopeTown.

In HopeTown, you will land on a platform that is found right outside of the HopeTech factory. That’s pretty much all there is to see in HopeTown aside from the Freestar Rangers station, the Pit Stop bar, and a firearms store. If you travel inside HopeTech, you can speak to a woman on your right standing behind a desk to see all of the available ships the company has on offer.

If you want to see Ron Hope, he is located on the top floor. However, you will eventually get to interact with him anyway by following the Freestar Rangers quest line in Starfield.
