The shortlist for TechFest Awards 2023 has been revealed.
In total, 115 entries have been shortlisted across 18 categories recognising the achievements of the construction and civil engineering industries in harnessing the potential of technological innovation.
Firms in the Mott MacDonald family lead the nominations – the firm itself has seven entries, while associated companies JN Bentley, JBA Bentley and Mott MacDonald Bentley have one, one and three shortlisted entries apiece.
Atkins and Tarmac have eight and seven shortlisted nominations respectively in the awards, which are run by Construction News and its sister title New Civil Engineer.
Other tier one contractors to feature include Laing O’Rourke and Skanska UK, as well as Anglian Water and the Environment Agency.
The awards celebrate excellent companies, teams, individuals and projects from across the industry – with categories for the use of technology in multiple areas.
The three firms nominated for Contractor of the Year: Technical Excellence are Laing O’Rourke , Mott MacDonald Bentley and Skanska UK.
