Amazon Prime Day is just around the corner, but if you can’t wait until then, July 4th often brings deals on a host of tech. Even now, a day after the holiday, you can still pick up a wide range of deals at Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, and a number of other retailers. What’s more, the lingering discounts still span a range of popular tech categories, from 4K TVs and speakers to laptops and robot vacuums.
Not every deal that is still available is worth shelling out for, though. Fortunately, to make sifting through the remaining sea of lawn chairs and watermelon-laden tablecloths a little easier, we’ve rounded up some of the better deals you can still get. Headphone and earbud deals
The second-gen AirPods Pro improve upon the original with better noise cancellation, enhanced sound quality, and onboard volume controls. The case also now has a built-in speaker that makes your misplaced AirPods easier to find.
The Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 3 are the company’s best set of noise-canceling earbuds yet, with a more refined design, even better sound quality than before, and support for wireless charging.

- You can buy Sony’s WH-1000XM4s with a 10,000mAh Qi wireless charger for $348 ($20 off) at Adorama. Though an older model, the headphones still offer a lot of value thanks to their stellar noise cancellation and overall sound quality. Read our review.
- Samsung’s Galaxy Buds Live are on sale starting at $92.70 (about $57 off) at Amazon and for slightly more at Best Buy and B&H Photo. Although Google’s wireless earbuds are nearly three years old at this point, they still offer good sound quality along with a unique, bean-shaped design. Read our review.
Amazon’s second-gen Echo Buds offer a comfortable design, good ANC, and a natural ambient sound mode. They support hands-free Alexa commands as well.
4K TV deals
The LG C3 offers more processing power than its predecessor and several new picture modes. It continues to offer a 120Hz refresh rate and low input lag as well, along with support for Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync variable refresh rate tech.
- If you prefer something a little cheaper than LG’s C3, you can currently pick up the LG C2 in the 41-inch configuration at Amazon and Best Buy starting at $896.99. The last-gen OLED is similar to the newer C3 model, with both sporting a 120Hz refresh rate and low input lag, but it lacks the improved processing power and new picture modes found on the C3.
- Various configurations of Amazon’s latest Fire TV Omni QLED are on sale right now, including the 65-inch model, which is down to $599.99 ($200 off) at Amazon and Best Buy. Unlike its predecessor, the newer 4K TV offers full-array local dimming and displays artwork and Alexa widgets when idle.
If you want an amazing-looking display at a somewhat low price, LG’s A2 OLED is an excellent value. It lacks the high refresh rate panel and brightness of the pricier LG C2 and C3, but the A2 costs less for fantastic picture quality.
- You can also buy Amazon’s last-gen Fire TV Omni at a discount. The 55-inch model, for example, is on sale for $307.99 ($252 off) at Best Buy, which is even less than what it’s going for at Amazon. The 4K TV offers deep integration with Alexa and support for two-way video calling, though its lacks support for Dolby Vision like the larger configurations. Read our review.
Outdoors and fitness deals
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 comes in two sizes: 40mm and 44mm. It offers slightly longer battery life than the Galaxy Watch 4 and new capabilities, including the ability to measure skin temperature and analyze body composition data. Read our review.
- You can also buy Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 5 Pro in the 45mm Bluetooth configuration for around $399 ($51 off) at Amazon and Best Buy. Compared to the standard model, the Pro offers a larger screen and improved battery life. Read our review.
- The Fitbit Sense 2 is on sale for $249.95 ($50 off) at Adorama. The tracker offers excellent stress-tracking features along with a physical button. It’s also both lighter and thinner, with a more comfortable design than its predecessor. Read our Fitbit Sense 2 review.
- You can currently buy Coleman’s foldable Classic Propane Gas Camping Stove for $48 ($27 off) at Walmart. The camping stove — which is ideal for car camping — is pretty basic, given it lacks an igniter and only offers two burners, but it cooks food well enough.
- The Solo Stove Bonfire 2.0, a stainless steel fire pit that comes with an ashtray you can use while camping or in your backyard, is on sale for $229.99 ($170 off) direct from Solo Stove.
Speaker and soundbar deals
Few portable speakers have enjoyed the same popularity as the Ultimate Ears Boom 3. With 360-degree sound, a waterproof construction, and easy controls, it’s not surprising this Bluetooth speaker has stuck around for so long.
- Apple’s second-gen HomePod is on sale in either white or black for $289 ($10 off) at B&H Photo. The terrific-sounding smart speaker integrates well with Apple devices but also comes with Matter and Thread support. Plus, it features a built-in temperature and humidity sensor — helpful features you won’t find on the first-gen model. Read our review.

Smart home deals
With 24/7 recording, facial recognition, reliable smart alerts, and some free video recording. Google’s newest wired doorbell is the best option for most people.
This sleek Bluetooth smart lock supports Apple Home and will auto-unlock for you as you approach your door. Wi-Fi and Z-Wave modules add more smart home support for $80 each. A Matter module is in the works, and you can choose to have a keyed lock, too.
- You can buy Google’s Nest Learning Thermostat for $189 ($60 off) from Best Buy, the Google Store, and Staples. The smart thermostat is capable of learning your cooling and heating preferences over time and comes with support for Alexa and Google Home.
- The Arlo Essential Wired Video Doorbell is on sale in white for $59.49 ($70 off) at Amazon. Arlo’s high-res video doorbell works with all smart home platforms and comes with smart alerts for people, packages, animals, and vehicles.
The best bang for your buck, the Roomba i3 Evo cleans just as well as the j7 but won’t avoid clutter and doesn’t have app-enabled clean zones or keep-out zones.
Laptop and tablet deals
The redesigned MacBook Air is a thin, lightweight device powered by Apple’s latest chip. The M2 model also touts a 1080p webcam and a better display than its predecessor, while retaining features like long battery life and MagSafe charging.
- You can buy the M1-powered MacBook Air with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage for $799.99 ($200 off) at Amazon. The last-gen MacBook Air is similar to the 13-inch M2-powered MacBook Air in that it offers long battery life and excellent performance, but it lacks its high-resolution webcam and newer design. The LG Gram 17 is one of the best laptops for fans of big screens, offering a 17-inch display while still being surprisingly lightweight. This particular model runs on Windows 11.
- If you prefer a larger Apple laptop, you can currently buy the M1 Max-equipped 16-inch MacBook Pro at Adorama with 2TB of storage, 32GB of RAM, a 10-core CPU, and a 24-core GPU for $3,099 ($600 off). Read our review.
Apple’s 2021 entry-level iPad is still a solid deal in 2023. It comes with the A13 Bionic chip, a 12-megapixel selfie camera, and 64GB of storage by default.
Gaming deals
Logitech’s G Fits are a set of gaming-oriented wireless earbuds that mold to the shape of your ears for a custom fit. They feature both Bluetooth 5.2 and 2.4GHz wireless, the latter using a USB-A transmitter for connecting to consoles and PCs.
The ROG Zephyrus G14 is an astonishingly powerful gaming laptop. It can push powerful, smooth graphics performance in games while also being surprisingly efficient for other tasks.

- The Nintendo Switch OLED is on sale at Adorama for $344.99 ($4 off), which is a small discount but one that applies to a console that often isn’t discounted. Read our review.
- Nintendo’s official Animal Crossing-themed Nintendo Switch case is on sale for $14.99 ($10 off) at Adorama. Note, however, that the protective case only fits the standard Switch console, not the Nintendo Switch Lite.
Miscellaneous deals
The second-gen Apple Pencil ditches the awkward Lightning port charging, adopting a magnetic mechanism that attaches to the side of the latest iPad Pro, iPad Air, and iPad Mini models. It can also recharge while magnetically attached and supports tap gestures.
- If you own the ninth- or 10th-gen iPad (or something even older), you can pick up the first-gen Apple Pencil at Amazon and Walmart right now for $79 ($20 off). Bear in mind, however, that the stylus lacks gesture controls and can’t magnetically attach to either tablet like the newer model.
- You can buy the Samsung Tab S8 with 128GB of storage from Best Buy, Samsung, and Amazon for $599.99 ($100 off). The Android tablet might not be able to tap into the same kind of app ecosystem as an iPad, but it integrates well with other Samsung devices while offering both a terrific display and performance. Belkin’s BoostCharge Pro with MagSafe supports 15W fast wireless charging with MagSafe-compatible iPhones and features a built-in, 6.6-foot cable, which makes it one of the best all-purpose magnetic charging pucks around.
Anker’s magnetic power bank touts wireless Qi charging, a folding kickstand, and a convenient USB-C port for wired charging.

Belkin’s laptop-friendly Continuity Camera mount offers great build quality, a built-in kickstand, and — most importantly — an easy way to use your MagSafe-equipped iPhone as a webcam.
The GoPro Hero 10 Black offers a better processor than its predecessor, making it possible to shoot in 4K resolution at 120 frames per second. Its sensor isn’t as large as the GoPro Hero 11 Black’s, however, nor is it capable of shooting at up to an 8:7 aspect ratio at 5.3K.
- Apple’s leather AirTag Loop is down to $27.99 ($11 off) in brown at Adorama. Apple’s ultra-wideband Bluetooth trackers lack a lanyard hole, so the accessory makes it possible to clip your AirTags to your backpack, keys, and other items.
- The Keurig K-Mini, a favorite among some Verge staffers, is on sale at Amazon and Target right now for $59.99 ($30 off). The compact, single-serve coffee maker is pretty no-frills overall, but it still allows you to make a 12-ounce cup of coffee within no time.
