Chuck Espinoza Acknowledged by Marquis Who’s Who for Excellence in Audiovisual Technology Advancement

Mr. Espinoza is the global education director for Aurora Multimedia where he has exhibited exceptional leadership since 2022. In his prominent role, he is responsible for developing the company’s educational program, and he thrives on forging long-term relationships through mentoring. He manages a concurrent position as a partner with BNCO Consulting, where he has made significant contributions since 2020 and helped create exceptional, interactive technology experiences for the company’s broad client base, which includes Fortune 100 firms, educational institutions and government entities; moreover, Mr. Espinoza accumulated valuable experience as a senior staff instructor with AVIXA between 2015 and 2022.


From 2013 to 2015, Mr. Espinoza was the acting operations manager with National Capitol Contracting; additional distinguished appointments further define his professional profile, to include a successful tenure as the co-host with rAVe Publications in 2015 and distinct roles as a Senior Engineer with Hoppmann Audio Visual and a member of the Leadership Search Committee for InfoComm International, the international trade association of the professional audiovisual and information communications industries, in 2013.


A unique appointment as the project manager and Lead Technician with Corporate Presentation Systems further shaped Mr. Espinoza’s career trajectory from 2004 to 2005. In 2006, he subsequently advanced to the role of Chief Training Officer and Senior Integration Engineer with Audio Video Systems, where he flourished through 2009 before transitioning to Applied Visual Communications to accept the title of Training and Quality Assurance Engineer. Creative endeavors have also proved to be a critical part of Mr. Espinoza’s achievements, and in 2009, he proudly co-authored the second edition of “AV Installation Handbook: The Best Practices for Quality Audiovisual System,” a key component of InfoComm International’s robust and reliable installation curriculum.


In addition to deep audiovisual industry experience, Mr. Espinoza has also accumulated diverse professional credentials. The prestigious Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association (AVIXA), of which he is a long-time member, named him a Certified Technology Specialist in 2005, and he holds Certified Technology Specialist designations in both the Design (CTS-D) and Installation (CTS-I) categories with AVIXA. The Association for Quality in Audio Visual Technology designated him a Certified Quality Assurance Technician (CQT) for the years 2011 through 2021, and the Project Management Institute granted him the status of Project Management Professional (PMP) in 2015. Notably, Mr. Espinoza also completed the ReAX and DTX programs with Canvas Credentials in 2022, and he reached level 2 certified integrator status in the hearing loop category with Listen Technologies in 2013.


From 1990 to 2003, Mr. Espinoza proudly served in the U. S. Marine Corps, which awarded him 2 Navy Achievement Medals and various leadership awards. He also made meaningful contributions as a Chief Sound System Engineer and musician while in the service. As additional evidence of his civic focus, Mr. Espinoza cites his dedication to the academic advisory board of Columbia College Chicago between 2018 and 2019.


Numerous accolades have marked Mr. Espinoza’s business accomplishments thus far, including the honor of being named the Readers’ Choice Favorite Person in the AV Industry by rAVe Publications and twice being part of the team designated the Education Department of the Year by AVNation Readers’ Choice Awards. He recognizes the positive influence of various mentors, including his older brother, Robert, who showed him ample support after their father passed away. He also credits his high school band director, Barry Black, who encouraged him to broaden his perspectives and expand his worldview. Finally, Mr. Espinoza attributes much of his progress to his mother, Carmen, who led by the example of always doing the right thing, and most notably, his daughter, Abigail, to whom constantly reminds him to set the example of a good citizen, professional, and person.


Mr. Espinoza counts his role in assisting many audio/visual professionals in their pursuit of certifications that elevate and define their professional profiles as his most notable accomplishment thus far. Looking toward the future, he aims to continue making critical contributions to the Aurora Multimedia Education Department so that the unit achieves self-sustainability.
