Sharks to Host 2023 Sharks Legends Game at Tech CU

The San Jose Sharks (@San Jose Sharks) announced today that the team, in conjunction with the Sharks Alumni Foundation, will host the 2023 Sharks Legends Game at Tech CU Arena on Fri., Feb. 24 at 7:30 p.m.

The game will feature Sharks legend Patrick Marleau along with many of his former teammates, one night prior to becoming the first Sharks player to have his number permanently retired at SAP Center at San Jose.

Sharks365 and The Battery members will have an exclusive pre-sale window to purchase $25 tickets for the event, beginning on Jan. 18 at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster. Tickets for the general public are $35 and will go on sale on Fri., Jan. 20. A limited number of VIP tickets will also be available for purchase, which will include a premium ticket location, food & beverage throughout the game, as well as a post-game reception with the Sharks Legends.

All net proceeds will be donated to The Sharks Foundation and the Sharks Alumni Foundation.

Sharks legends expected to attend** the weekend’s events include; Curtis Brown, Ryane Clowe, Adam Graves, Mike Grier, Scott Hannan, Dany Heatley, Bret Hedican, Shawn Heins, Kelly Hrudey, Evgeni Nabokov, Owen Nolan, Scott Parker, Tom Pederson, Mike Ricci, Scott Thornton, Devin Setoguchi, Mark Smith, Joel Ward, and Tommy Wingels.

**Participants subject to change; actual game line-ups will be announced at a future date.

The game is being hosted in conjunction with Marleau’s No. 12 retirement ceremony, which will take place on Sat., Feb. 25 prior to the Sharks game against the Chicago Blackhawks.
