He was previously the firm’s leader for cloud computing services and has worked at the firm for almost two decades. Before rejoining Accenture, Mr Coates was a partner at PwC for more than three years. Before that, he was a managing director at Accenture and has also worked at IBM. He is based in Sydney.
James Downie is now a partner in PwC’s health and wellbeing advisory business.
The 47-year-old was most recently at the Independent Health and Aged Care Pricing Authority where he was CEO for more than seven years and executive director of activity based funding for 3½ years. He is based in Sydney.
Justin Harness, 49, has been appointed as a partner at BDO in the firm’s consulting business. Mr Harness has previously been a director at KPMG and has also worked as a strategic advisor at Sydney Trains and a transformation leader at TAFE NSW. He is based in Sydney.
