2) Hard drive automatically gets into sleep status once no read and write in 5 minutes.

Note: AHCI (Serial ATA Advanced Host Controller Interface) is required to be enabled by configuring the BIOS if connect GLOTRENDS eSATA enclosure to computer via eSATA Port. Otherwise the HDD won’t be recognized in computer. Or You have to “Scan for hardware changes” in “Device Manager” or restart your computer.
