The M.2 M Key NVMe SSD Enclosure is designed to accommodate M-Key or M+B Key NVMe PCIe SSD and turn it into a portable USB 3.0 external drive for maximum utilization.
NOTE:Only support PCIe NVME M-Key M.2 SSD. Not Support PCIe AHCI M.2 SSD or M.2 NGFF SATA SSD. Some SSDs have both AHCI & NVMe or SATA & NVMe editions available. For example, Samsung SM951 SSD.

9.How to Install M.2 SSD
Remove the screw.
Remove the cover.
Remove cover and pull out the PCBA.
Insert M.2 SSD to NVMe slot.
Put the thermal pad on the SSD,leave the sheet on the thermal pad.
Press M.2 SSD down and match the screw slot.
Lock M.2 SSD with the screw.
10.Note: For a brand new SSD drive, the drive may not be found, because a brand new SSD drive should be formatted before the first use. And also need to partition the SSD drive.
