If you work with Raw or AdobeRGB images, you will not miss our Wide Gamut Monitor: The large color space reproduces the AdobeRGB color space to 99 percent. If the pictures taken in raw format are converted to AdobeRGB, the monitor will display them accurately. So you can see a bright blue sky or rich green forests lifelike – unlike monitors with sRGB color space. But even when printing, the Eizo monitor offers significant advantages: It covers almost the entire CMYK color space (e.g., ISO Coated and U.S. Web Coated). You can see on the screen what the later printing result looks like and save yourself proofs.

Automate your calibration with the sensor built within the front bezel. The sensor swings out onto the screen only when calibrating, eliminating the need for a third-party calibration device. It even operates while the monitor is in portrait mode. A separate calibration device is therefore unnecessary, and your calibration efforts are thereby significantly reduced.
True Black: Color depth for plastic images
On LCD screens, dark tones often appear pale or washed. True-Black improves contrast ratio, dark shades reach depth, especially when viewing the monitor on the side.
Constant tone value across the entire screen
Pixel by pixel, the Digital Uniformity Equalizer (DUE) controls all tone values across the entire monitor. The effect: The colors appear identical at every point of the screen, with no variations in brightness than conventional LCD. The DUE function also balances the effects of fluctuations in ambient temperature on color temperature and brightness. You can enjoy a uniform luminance distribution and ideal color purity—a big plus for picture retouching.
10-bit color depth: One billion colors in the finest gradation.
Thanks to a 10-bit color representation based on a 16-bit LUT, you can use a vast color spectrum. This is ensured by the fast DisplayPort and HDMI ports in conjunction with the Frame Rate Control. A billion colors are available at the same time. That’s 64 times as many colors as the 8-bit display. The color gradations are more refined, and the color spacing between adjacent colors lower. Also crucial for post-production: the extended greyscale range. When the 10-bit grayscale range is activated, between 6% and 14% more grayscale will be visible.
