The HONOR MagicBook Art 14 is a beautiful piece of tech like its name

Aside from announcing the HONOR Magic V3, the company has introduced what may be the most beautiful laptop it has ever produced, the HONOR MagicBook Art 14 is a stunning 14-inch laptop that boasts a minimalist design, it also weighs just 1kg and measuring as slim as 1cm at its thinnest point.

The MagicBook Art 14 is available in Core Ultra 5 125H and Ultra 7 155H models, paired with up to 32GB of LPDDR5x RAM at 7467MHz and 1TB of PCIe 4.0 storage, it has a 14.6-inch 3.1K OLED display that boasts 700 nits of peak brightness and 97% screen-to-body ratio, while emphasizing on eye-care with 4320Hz PWM Dimming and a dedicated e-reader screen mode that reduces blue light emissions by 31.6%.

Due to its ultra slim bezels, the laptop doesn’t have a webcam built into the bezels but rather, HONOR has introduced a magnetic webcam that’s ingeniously stored at the side of the laptop in a silo, it attaches to the top of the chassis and offers 1080p video.

Other unique features include a trackpad that supports knuckle gesture just like its smartphones, which supports capturing and recording your screen, minimizing and closing apps, while swiping on the sides will allow you to adjust speaker volume and screen brightness, much like what we have seen on the new Huawei Matebook X Pro.

Despite its sleek body, the MagicBook Art 14 still comes with two USB-C ports with one of them supporting Thunderbolt 4, one USB-A port and a full-sized HDMI 2.1 port, the laptop has a decent sized 60Wh battery that can be charged in 95 minutes from empty.

The HONOR MagicBook Art 14 will be generally available in China starting 26th July 2024, with prices starting at CNY7799 (RM5,024) for the Core Ultra 5 model, it maxes out at CNY9499 (RM6,119) for the Core Ultra 7 model with 32GB RAM and 1TB storage.

At this time, HONOR Malaysia hasn’t announced plans to introduce the laptop to the Malaysian market.
