It lets you leverage the high performance of the latest SSDs and hard drives while alleviating bottlenecks in your data transfers.
Hot-swappable, plug and play
With UASP you can utilize the full potential of a SATA III SSD or HDD. Support Windows 98/2000/XP/Vista/7/8/8.1, Mac OS X or above, and Linux.
Why the Cable does not work with my Drives ( The SSD is not recognized with the cable)?
Possible Reasons:
1) If you are using a new SSD drive or an HDD, you need to initialize it first and then format it. You can search for “how to initialize an external hard drive” for directions on this. Instructions vary a bit between Windows 10, 7, and Vista.
2) If it is an old hard disk or disassembled hard disk, first confirm whether the hard disk is good.
3) If it is an Apple OS mac system, set up the hard disk format
4) wrong hard drive type – this cable will not work with 3.5″ SSD/HDD
5) bad USB port on the computer;

Question 1: Don’t recognize the drive: Answer: 1)Insufficient power supply, connect a 12V/2A power supply; 2)Drive problem, update the USB driver; 3)Partition problem, partition the hard disk first before reading
Question 2: Recognizes drive but will not do anything with it: Answer: SATA hard disk needs chip support, because the main control chip of the computer and the main control chip of the Drive are inconsistent, resulting in different ways of partitioning the hard disk, just need to re-partition the hard disk.
